Chris Cawley

Chris grew up in Harrisburg PA riding at both of his parents’ farms and since starting his show career at the age of two, he has been showing hunters and jumpers with notable success. During his junior years, Chris started on ponies and worked his way up to his first Grand Prix at the age of seventeen.

For six years, Chris trained in North America and Europe with Debbie Stevens achieving numerous ribbon finishes in Grand Prix events throughout Europe before joining Leslie Howard at Burr Associates in 2001. During these past years with Leslie and recently at Redgate Farm in Newtown CT, Chris’ students continue to show successfully with multiple wins in all hunter and jumper divisions through the East Coast, including Wellington, Devon, Lake Placid, Harrisburg and Kentucky.

Chris and his Grand Prix show jumper wife Molly Ashe Cawley are now partnered with Timmy Kees at Redgate Farm and have started their own training and showing program for aspiring equestrian students under the name Norfield Stables, LLC
